Updates!

Okay...I'm figuring this thing out...

Since I'm now directing people to this, I'll explain again here, just click the login with Facebook button and it should open a window for your facebook login details, that's all you have to do and you're ready to go on the site!

Once you've registered, you should now be getting access to all of the site. Once I've added you to the 254 group, you'll get access to a private part of the forum and you'll be able to add photos to the Gallery, go to the private bit for instructions (well I'll write them shortly...)

Let me know if there's things that you can't access that you should be able to and I'll look into it!

Some more stuff:

All the news stories are back, but lots need pictures fixed, so if you have any that fit in, feel free to send them on and I'll fix them. Until then, stories from halfway down Page 8 (http://ap254.com/blog?page=8) and on still have the pictures intact.

If you want to remind folk of some of our old hijinks, find the story you want, click on the title of the story, then click the 'Like' button, hold the mouse over the newly clicked Like and you can enter a message to post it to your facebook profile with.

Hope that makes sense...

ap254.com...the RETURN!

Welcome to the latest incarnation of ap254.com, hopefully you'll like it. If you're part of 254 or you're a friend of 254, the easiest way for you to register is to simply click the login with Facebook button, it'll register you on the site as well and link it to your Facebook account, so it'll be much easier to log in again.

There's still bits that need work, lots of the old news stories are missing pictures, the Gallery is missing quite a bit and there's nowhere for videos yet, but it should all be built up over time. You can of course add your own pictures etc to the gallery and help out!

Sorry it has been out of action for so long...hopefully we can still cause some troub...I mean have some fun with it though!
Give me a shout if you have any problems

AP254 Reunion? Suggestions Needed

It has now come to our attention, that all 24 (100%) of AP254 have now be awarded jobs. In fact that sounds so good lets say it again. All 24 members of Ap254 now have jobs! So it is now time to start planning the first AP254 reunion as we all now have (or soon to have) cash coming into our bank accounts once more! So this is time to open suggestions to everyone of what we all want to do. As summer is going to prove very difficult to get everyone together and many of us will be still doing TR during the autumn a perfect time could be prior to Christmas or in the early new year. Whatever the arrangements, it has to involve alot of alcohol. So fancy a few days in NY just before Christmas or possibly skiing in early next year? Well make your suggestion in the comments boxes below and AP254 Events & Escape Committee will convene in the near future to formally consider all valid proposals. By the way, we are always looking for new members to join the Events & Escape Committee (So email Panda if you want to help out as he is sick of it!).

Well you have been asking for it for ages but we didn't have any IT. However we do have this. Young Dave Bell has been slaving over a dim and sometimes flickering computer screen to produce a prototype for the new and improved AP254.COM including; blogs, forums, galleries, tea/coffee making facilities etc. And all AP254 class members will have access to it so that you can add you own content!!! Wooo, nip yourself now!!!

Full AP254 Monty

In yet another first, AP254 have created for OAT more ground breaking events. Following the success of AP254's first venture into show business with the tribute act the 'VMCA People' another has followed. Yes today AP254 can proudly announce the launch of 'Full AP254 Monty' and yes ladies we can confirm it will be the full monty!

AP254 will be breaking new ground for OAT as this is the first time students have stripped to help pay back their HSBC loans however it is not the first time OAT has helped launch the careers of a bunch of strippers as we reported last year with the launch of the OATendales. Unfortunately their first performance had to be cut short due to Health & Safety reasons. Their health and the audience's safety!

AP254.com were able to catch up with 'Full AP254 Monty' choreographer Mr Greg 'Twinkle-toes' Hardman as he took a break from the team's training.  Greg didn't say 'The boys have been working very hard over the last few weeks.  Initially they did have some issues with the stripping routine but now we've swapped the lace up shoes for slip ons it all going very well'.  Greg went on not to say 'Actually we hoped we would get more publicity from the national press but they seem to be busy with a bunch of lost squadies who are now found.  Don't see the story there myself like.'
Dates for 'Full AP254 Monty' have yet to be confirmed however we do have a number of publicity shots such as this one to help tempt would be audiences.

Seriously, very well done to Martyn for securing a job with BA CityFlyer!  And a special thank you to the nameless person who sent us the photograph.  If you have any photos of other class members that need publishing please send them this way!  And remember we pay Cash prizes for everyone that is published (if Tom isn't busy that day of course).

They think it is all over.  It is now!  26th March 2007 saw the successfull completion of the IR exam by Thomas 'Angel' Gabriel.  Tom is the final member of AP254 to complete the exam and therefore this officially means that all 100% of AP254 are now qualified pilots!  A scary thought indeed!
In an exclusive interview with AP254.com OAT supremo Anthony Petteford didn't say 'My God it's amazing soon they [AP254] will all be gone and I will be free free free of them!  I never thought this moment would come ha ha ha, woooo wooo wooo.  I told Denise Wilcox that this day would come but she didn't believe me, not even the voices in my head thought this day would be come.  We're free, we can relax.'

At that point we thought it better to let Mr Petteford continue with his work except that he ran down the runway skipping and singing deleriously followed by all of Customer Service, Ground School staff and the Flight Instructors.  AP254 obviously made a large impression amongst the good people of Kidlington.  Our work is done and now it is time to move on.

Again our congratulations to all of AP254!

Happy Birthday Treadas

The Prince of Kidlington, HRH treadwell, today celebrates his birthdayAP254 would like to wish the Prince of Kidlington, HRH James Treadwell, a very happy birthday.

Treaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadas, as he is know by his chums celebrated this momentous occasion by receiving estates in the south-east. In a statement to AP254.com James did not say "I am truly delighted by the new lands I have been given Lordship over, I plan to bring a better education to the peasants of the South-east with particular reference to the often appalling pronunciation of the word Gatwick. In addition I would just like to say that I am also looking forward to my 'official' birthday, which takes place this summer when the weather better suits the Godington Squadron's Annual flypast and trooping of the colour."

I'm sure you will join me in wishing his Lordship a very happy birthday and revel in the official portrait we had commissioned for this occasion.
